South Valley Students: Winter Weekend 2026

We are excited to announce our first annual Winter Weekend happening February 6-8th, 2026! This year's theme is "Imperishable: Obtain the Prize." We live in a world that is striving to attain perishing wreaths. I Corinthians 9:24-27 challenges us to consider our labors and focus as we seek to obtain the imperishable prize. Our prayer and desire is to see our students set aside the worthless perishing wreaths our world offers and discipline themselves to obtain the eternal prize. 

We aim to serve both our middle school and high school students in a combined retreat experience at River Canyon Retreat Center in Garden Valley. We plan to have combined teaching and game times and will separate boys/girls room assignments and discussion times. 

This weekend will include fun activities, good food, worship music, fellowship, and 4 messages from God's Word! 

• The cost is $175/ student
• Included: Two night stay at River Canyon Retreat Center, meals, snacks, tubing at Eagle Island on Sunday afternoon, transportation, apparel, and more! 
• Drop off: 2PM on Friday, February 6th at the Sanborn's.  3277 W Early Light Dr Meridian, ID 83642
  • Dinner will be provided on Friday.
• Pick up: 5PM on Sunday, February 8th, at Eagle Island.
